October 2010 Visa Bulletin Continues Forward Movement

The October 2010 Visa Bulletin continues the trend of forward movements from the the last two months. On the employment side, most categories are either unchanged or advance slightly. EB-2 China advances two weeks to May 22, 2006 but EB-2 India stays at May 8, 2006. Most EB-3 categories move forward by two to three weeks. The advancements in family-based petitions are more pronounced. For examples, F1 China, India and the other countries move forward by six weeks to February 15, 2006. Many F2B categories also advance six months to April 1, 2010. Because October is the first month of Fiscal Year 2011, these forward movements are significant to indicate that visa numbers are still available. Follow this link to see the visa bulletin:
