May 2013 Visa Bulletin

There are some significant advancement in both Family and Employment categories in May.

Family 2A advances 2 to 2.5 months for all countries across the board including China, India, Philippines, and Mexico.  Philippines 1st moves forward by about 4 months.  Family 2B also enjoys decent forward movements for all countries.  On the employment side, both China and Mexico jump forward by 5 months in the EB-3 category.  The significant advancements in the cut-off dates of the EB-3 category are intentional in an attempt to fully utilize all available visa numbers allocated for the fiscal year.  Such advancements may continue for the next few months, according to the State Department.  EB-2 India remains unchanged while EB-2 China advances again to May 15, 2008.  Please see the tables below for further details.
