Delay of Immediate Relative Petitions at Texas Service Center

USCIS has advised the public that there has been delay in the processing of
immediate relative petitions (I-130) at the TSC. In November 2010, USCIS
transferred approximately 36,000 Immediate Relative petitions from CSC to TSC.
The processing times of many of these cases are beyond the normal processing
times. Hence, USCIS is transferring back many immediate relative petitions to
CSC for expedited processing. Decision notices or Request for Evidence (RFE)
notices will be issued by the end of February.
