USCIS confirmed recently that the processing of H-1B petitions for extension of status has been exceptionally slow at both the California Service Center (CSC) and Vermont Service Center (VSC). In a recent call with AILA on 02/03/2016, USCIS explained that the delays are attributed to an increase in H-1B filings, including filings required by Simeio.
