March 2016 Visa Bulletin: China EB2/3 Major Advancements; India EB Filing Dates Stagnant


Headline news for March:  China's EB2 and EB3 categories see major and rapid movements!  

India filing dates have no changes but green card issuance dates advance.  Philippines EB2 and EB3 final action dates also advance 2 months.  Filing dates for Other Countries have become current for all categories.  Family immigration continues to advance slowly in most categories.

Filing Application Dates: 
China EB2 moves forward five months to 06/01/13
China EB3 advances 19 months to 05/01/15
India EB2 and EB3 remain at 07/01/09
Philippines EB2 : Current
Philippines EB3 remains at 01/01/10
Other Countries EB2 and EB3: All Current

Final Action (Green Card Issuance) Dates:
China EB2 moves forward five months to 08/01/12
China EB3 moves forward eight months to 06/01/13
India EB2 advances 2.5 months to 10/15/08
India EB3 advances one month to 07/15/04
Philippines EB2 and EB3 advance 2 months to 03/15/08

  1. Hi, PD is 10Aug2014 EB3, china, this morning attorney told me even the Date for Filing in March 2016 is 01May2015, he still can't file my i-485, it will get rejected. why is so?

  3. The USCIS announced on Feb. 11, 2016 that for adjustment of status applications filed in March 2016:

    For Family-Sponsored Filings:
    Applicants may use Dates for Filing Visa Applications Table for March 2016.

    For Employment-Based Filings:
    Applicants must use the Application Final Action Dates Table in the Department of State Visa Bulletin for March 2016 (not the Filing Date Table)
