Designated STEM OPT Degrees

For a foreign student to apply for STEM OPT employment, he or she must have earned a designated STEM degree in an accredited U.S. college.  In 2012, DHS expanded the list of designated STEM OPT degrees significantly including such fields as pharmaceutical sciences, econometrics, clinical and industrial development, food science and technology, quantitative economics, etc. Below is a complete list:
