Vermont Service Center received 9,525 H-1B cap cases as of April 5, 2010

At a meeting held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, between the USCIS VSC and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, VSC reported that, as of April 5, 2010, it had received a total of 9,525 cap-subject H-1B petitions - 6,791 "regular" cap, and 2,734 advanced degree cap. Note: these numbers do not include the cases filed with the California Service Center (CSC).

Bottom line: there is still time to file a H-1B cap-subject petition.
