February 2014 Visa Bulletin: EB3 continues advancement

In February's Visa Bulletin, the advancement in EB-3 continues for most countries except India, which continues to be stuck at 09/01/20003.  Other countries, including China, Mexico and the Philippines, all move forward by two months.  As discussed before, the advancement in EB-3 China provides a rare opportunity for Chinese nationals who are waiting for EB-2 visas to speed up their immigration process by filing an EB-3 immigrant visa petition.

There are some slow to moderate movements in several categories on the family side.  For example, F-1 Philippines advances six weeks to 08/15/2001.  F-2B move forward by five weeks for China, India and Other Countries to 07/08/2006.  However, F-2B Mexico retrogresses by eleven months to 05/01/1993. Also significant is that F-2A remains unchanged for all countries for the fifth consecutive month.
