Breaking News - Second H-1B Lottery Results Are Out!

USCIS has conducted a second drawing for FY2021's H-1B annual cap cases.  The results have been posted on myUSCIS system accounts as early as this morning.  The exact number of selections is still unknown now. Based on our law firm's small sample, about 1 in 8 previously un-selected cases have been selected in this round. It is also unknown whether USCIS gave preference to advanced degree holders.  The window for filing the H-1B petition for this group of applicants is from 08/17/2020 to 11/16/2020.  What is clear is that, the demand of H-1B visas has declined this year on account of COVID-19, Trump's tough immigration policy as well as the uncertain economic conditions.
