US to Allow Certain Ukrainians to enter the U.S. under NIE

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has issued a national interest exception to allow certain Ukrainians to enter the United States, effective now until March 1, 2022.

Specifically, the Ukrainians covered by this NIE include:

(1) those who are traveling with a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident;

(2) those who were physically present in Ukraine as of February 10, 2022; and

(3) those who possess valid travel documents

These individuals will be permitted to enter the United States without showing proof of COVID 19 vaccination
