September 2023 Visa Bulletin: F2A Dates for Filing Cut-off


In September, F2A final action dates advance by 2.5 months for all countries except Mexico. However, F2A filing dates chart has a cut-off date of 9/1/2023. 

For Employment-based categories, EB-2 advance by 3 months for all countries except India and China. China EB-3 advances by 3 months. 

Family-based applicants for adjustment must use the Dates for Filing chart to submit the I-485 application. F2A applicants (spouses and children of green card holder) should consider filing the I-485 application as early as possible in August, in order to also apply for an EAD and Advance Parole based on the adjustment application. 

Employment-based applicants for adjustment must use the Dates for Final Action chart to submit the I-485 application.
