USCIS announced today that the FY 2020 H-1B visa cap has been reached. All data entry has also been completed. The agency will gradually return unselected petitions to the applicants. No definite time schedule is provided by the agency regarding the return of petitions. USCIS may also transfer some cap-subject petitions between the Vermont Service Center and the California Service Center for workload balance as well. Notices will be sent to the parties regarding such transfers.
